Big Bike Ride

Skem Athletic are working closely with The Plastersine Group on another big charity fun day in aid of the NSPCC. The Big Bike Ride is a national event set up to raise money and awareness right across the UK and will take place on Saturday 28/6/08 in Skelmersdale.

The Plastersine Group is a performing arts academy set up in skelmersdale and provides expert training for children and young people in a variety of performing arts related subjects. The Plastersine Group is one of Skem Athletics new community partners and are working closely togeather to benefit children and young people across the town.

As another long and eventfull season draws to an end all clubs are already planning for next years campaign. Skem Athletic and Burscough both sent out a players request for the fourth coming season 2008/2009 to etend their respective squads. Both clubs see the real benefit of girls football and urge anyone interested to contact them directly. (See Contact page)
