Goalkeeper:
 |
Name: Chloe McMaster
Position: Goal Keeper
Player Info: Chloe is technically a very good goal keeper, she has an exceptional touch and a good understanding of the game. Her attitude is always good and she takes on board everything she is taught by the coaching team. Chloe is growing in confidence and has improved considerably this season, we are confident she will continue to move in the right direction.
Coaching Point: Chloe needs to become a little more vocal around her box and be that little bit braver in the challenge. She is very aware of the decisions she has to make but just needs to make them a little bit quicker.

Defence:

Name: Emma Valentine
Position: Defender
Player Info: Emma is a very classy footballer with an outstanding ability to read the game better than anyone in her age group. Compared by the coaching team to the great Alan Hanson, Emma is calm and collected under pressure with a great technique. She always looks to pass the ball out of trouble and very rarely waists an opportunity to bring other players into the game.
Coaching Point: Emma needs to become a little braver in the tackle and particularly when balls are crossed into the box, she is working hard on her heading ability and is improving all the time. Emma also needs to talk a little more to pass her experience on to other players around her.

Name: Danni Summner
Position: Defender
Player Info: Danni joined the squad at the start of the 2009/10 season and her transformation has been staggering. She is a very strong very committed defender with a good level of fitness. She is also very quick and is very rarely beaten for pace. Her positional sense has improved dramatically and her freakishly long throws have become one of the teams new weapons. Danni is a brave footballer with no hesitation on headers or tackles.
Coaching Point: Danni is working hard to improve her kicking tecniques, and still has some way to go before she is the finished article, but if she continues to improve at the level she has then a career in football is not out of the question.

Name: Sarah Wrobleski
Position: Defender/Midfield
Player Info: Every team has the player that can play in any position but not all teams have someone that can do it quite as well as Sarah. She is an athletic, committed footballer with a great attitude towards her game. Away from the pitch she is also part of an athletics club which defiantly benefits her football fitness. Sarah is brave in the tackle and exceptional in the air, and continues to improve with every game she plays.
Coaching Point: Sarah needs to be a little more vocal on the pitch and needs to concentrate on getting her head up quicker when in possession of the ball, she has improved her passing considerably since joining the club and continues to impress the coaches with every session.

Midfield:
 |
Name: Grace Vella
Position: Central Midfielder
Player Info: Grace is a very talented young footballer with a bright future in the woman's game, her range of passing and vision for someone so young is outstanding she is brave and committed with a great technique which always gets her a fair share of the goals. Grace has captained the side for three years and has had a huge say in the clubs overwhelming success. In March 2010 Grace signed her Dream contract for Liverpool Ladies where she is now a regular player for their team.
Coaching Point: Working with Grace has been a joy, she listens to everything she is told and works hard to improve on all aspects of her game. Grace needs to work on her aerobic fitness in order to compete at academy level, she also needs to develop her turns to give her that extra 5 yards in which to use her extensive passing range.
We have no dought that this young footballer will go all the way in the game.

Name: Laura Butler
Position: Attacking Midfielder
Player Info: Laura is a fantastic talent and a real joy to watch. She has an outstanding technique for someone so young with great vision and a real footballers brain. Her first touch is as good as any in the professional game and her clever tricks and turns make her very difficult to play against. Laura has great spirit and a desire to win games, she is not afraid of heading the ball despite her small frame and given the chance will score a lot of goals.
Coaching Point: I have no douhgt that Laura has the ingredients to go all the way in the game, at times Laura can be her own worst enemy has she lets her head go down. She needs to work hard on her fitness to allow her to continue to dictate the game for longer spells. Laura could do with being a little stronger but that will come as she grows up, I predict that 12 months from now she will be ready to compete at the highest level.

Name: Mayumi Gillam
Position: Left Winger
Player Info: Mayumi is the youngest of the Skem Athletic squad with the biggest most vibrant personality of them all. She is a very talented young player with great energy and a good understanding of the game. Her movement off the ball is exemplary and is the reason why Mayumi scores an awful lot of goals from out wide. Her trade mark bandanna combined with some great touches make her stand out as someone that little bit special.
Coaching Point: Mayumi is among the easiest players to coach due to her great attitude. Her attacking play sometimes neglects her defence duties which can leave the team a little exposed, Mayumi needs to work on her positional discipline along with her aerobic fitness, this will enable her to do both jobs in attack and defence.
Goals: 20

Name: Abbey Lynott
Position: Right Winger
Player Info: Since joining the club Abbey has gone from strength the strength, she has worked very hard to improve her game and we are now reaping the rewards. She is a strong athletic player with fantastic strength and pace and is a real handful at any level. Her crossing is now a real strong part of her game and has assisted us greatly in our recent success. Abbey has a great attitude towards her football and has made herself irreplaceable in her position.
Coaching Point: Despite her huge contribution to every game, Abbey needs to work on her attacking technique, her shooting and heading in front of goal doesn't match the rest of her game. When Abbey adds goals to her game, she will be more than ready for a career in football.

Name: Gabby Buckley
Position: Central Midfielder
Player Info: Gabby has all the potential of a great footballer, she is amongst the strongest most athletic players I have ever worked with, she is very quick and direct and overwhelmingly competitive. Anyone playing against Gabby is well aware they are in for a challenge, she is quickly becoming the obvious replacement for our captain as her passion and commitment drives us forward into the future.
Coaching Point: Gabby can have a tendency to switch off during games, she needs to work on her levels of concentration if she is going to lead the team in the future. Her discipline at times can prevent her from learning new things, she just needs to focus her boundless energy into the right parts of the pitch.

Name: Olivia Weedall
Position: Striker
Player Info: Olivia is the most experienced of the Skem Athletic squad, she is a very naturally talented player with an outstanding tecniques. She has always shown great potential for the game and makes taking the ball past players look easy. She is strong and committed in all areas of the game and has scored a lot of goals in her short career. She is the type of player that will get you something out of nothing.
Coaching Point: Olivia needs to work on getting her head up quicker when dribbling the ball, sometimes she cannot see the better options opening up around her. Being such a great runner with the ball she also needs to make sure she maintains a high level of aerobic fitness.
Goals: 8

 |
Name: Leah Duffy
Position: Striker
Player Info: Leah has come into her own this season and is scoring goals for fun, she is exceptionally skillful with a fantastic touch and is quickly adopting the role of an old fashioned center forward. She is very good with her back to goal and her great strength allows her to bring other players into the game, she is good in the air and not afraid to put herself about, when her attitude is right she is a really classy footballer.
Coaching Point: It will be up to Leah how far she wants to go in the game, she has all the tools but doesn't always use them. She needs to concentrate on staying positive when things aren't going great. She can sometimes be caught taking too many touches due to her ability to keep the ball but when she limits her touches around the box she is a real quality player.
Goals: 22

Squad players:
 |
Name: Ellie McNally
Position: Defender
Player Info: Ellie trains with the squad each week and is improving all the time into a fine young player, although she is too young to sign at this age she is hopefully a part of a new future at Skem Athletic, as the plans are in place for a new younger team. Ellie works really hard in training and has already developed the ability to read the game and not waste the ball. She is brave and committed and training with quality players each week and certainly rubbed off on young ellie.
Coaching Point: Ellie needs to just continue to focus in training and listen to instructions from the coaching team, she has worked hard to develop her fitness in order to keep up with girls two years older and she must continue to do so. I am confident she will be ready to lead a new younger team in the future.

Player Info: Samantha has been with the club for three years and has contributed hugely to the success of this squad of players. Although Samantha no longer plays in the matches due to other commitments she still remains a real part of the team. She is a strong player and works hard for the team, hopefully Samantha will again line up on match day and continue to have a say on the teams future.
