Formed in September 2006, the club consists of 4 teams, an under 13s, under 16s, Youth Team - all
girl sides and new for this season we have the Mens Team.

Skem Athletic is a friendly club, run by a dedicated, enthusiastic group of parents and coaches who
believe girls football has a leading role to play in our young girls social and physical development,
giving them the opportunity to participate and enjoy the game of football not only develops their
physical well being, but plays a key role in their personal aspirations, empowering them with skills
they can use later in life.

Our clubs success is founded on our proactive development plan, which concentrates on all aspects
of football, fitness, team, player and coach development to ensure our girls not only play well together,
but most importantly enjoy their football and the game they love.

Our training sessions are run and supervised by qualified coaches and are held locally twice a week.
